Pod Point integration
Connect compatible Pod Point chargers so charger state, sessions, schedule context and EV charging evidence can sit beside solar, battery and tariff data in 1app.energy.
Controlled rollout
Pod Point support is available for compatible chargers.
Pod Point can add charger state, selected-charger charge history and EV session context to the whole-home view. Mode control is available only where Pod Point EV Smart Control is enabled for the home; ready-by targets and full scheduling remain in the Pod Home app.
Whole-home charger context
Pod Point charger state and selected charge history sit beside solar, battery, grid and tariff data.
Mode controls where enabled
Use supported Boost, Smart or Stop mode control only where the customer has enabled EV Smart Control and the backend gate allows it.
Pod Home remains primary
Manage ready-by targets, charging schedules, solar settings, tariff settings, rewards and charger locking in the Pod Home app.
Why this page exists
Pod Point can show charger activity in Pod Home, but solar, battery and tariff homes still need charger context beside the rest of the property.
EV charging
Supported charger context and mode controls where enabled, with full scheduling kept in Pod Home.
What 1app.energy does here
- Connect a compatible Pod Point account and select the home charger where more than one charger exists.
- Show supported charger state, schedule context, sessions and EV charging evidence beside solar, battery, grid and tariff data.
- Use supported Boost, Smart and Stop mode controls only where the home has Pod Point control enabled.
- Keep native ready-by targets, full charger scheduling, solar settings, tariff settings, rewards and charger locking in the Pod Home app.
- Avoid treating Pod Point as a measured live-power source unless the backend marks the watts as trusted.
Why this is a strong fit
- 1app.energy treats Pod Point charging as part of the whole-home energy picture rather than another isolated charger screen.
- The dashboard can show Pod Point context beside inverter, tariff and grid data, which helps customers understand when charging competes with the home battery.
- The supported path keeps expectations clear: charger visibility and mode controls can be available where compatible, while native charger setup remains in Pod Home.

Related whole-home use cases
These pages connect this integration to the broader home-level problems users are trying to solve.
Stop Octopus daytime EV charging from draining your home battery
This is the flagship 1app.energy wedge: stop the daytime EV-battery conflict first, then layer in cheaper-period battery charging and broader whole-home coordination.
Smart tariff EV charging without home energy conflicts
When EV charging is cheap, it can still be operationally expensive if it competes with battery reserve, heating demand or export value elsewhere in the property.
Solar, battery and EV charging in one app
This is one of the strongest SaaS acquisition pages because the value proposition is simple: stop managing three overlapping energy systems in three different tools.
Whole-home conflict detection for modern energy homes
The more flexible devices a home has, the more valuable it becomes to detect conflicts between them before they show up as cost, lost solar or poor comfort.
